Our Yoga classes are not just for climbers; they’re for everyone. However, climbers will find many of the physical benefits particularly useful. Through yoga, we aim to improve flexibility, muscular endurance, balance, coordination, and core stability. Beyond the physical, yoga fosters a deeper connection between the mind, body, and breath, cultivating a state of ‘flow’ beneficial for climbing.
Our bright and beautiful fitness studio space, covering 100 square metres, is perfectly suited to hosting a range of movement classes offered by qualified, independent instructors which benefit climbing and adventure sport enthusiasts.
The Ledge features a comprehensive strength and conditioning area equipped with lifting platforms, free weights, cardio machines (Concept 2 rowing machines, SkiErgs and treadmills), kettlebells, and cable stations. Whether you’re a climber or just someone looking for a modern training space, our gym offers equipment specifically selected for climbing, outdoor, and adventure sports.
Use of the gym is included in your climbing membership, and open to the public on a pay as you go basis. Use is restricted to over 16s.
We also have our own dedicated physio/sports rehab space, operated by leading sports physio Dave Roberts, who has worked with many top international athletes including England cricket star Freddie Flintoff.
